| Description: | A video rendering of an interactive fly-through of Tampa Bay created by the Fledermaus software toolkit. The data
represents the best available topography and bathymetry extracted
from USGS and NOAA collections and processed by the VDatum tool kit
to a common vertical reference frame. Data were then gridded, and
color coded by depth to form a digital terrain model. Artificial
sun-illumination is applied to the digital terrain model, shadows
generated and then brought into an interactive 3-D exploration
environment for analysis and study. |
